25km wide at is widest point. Home to over 1 200 Hippo’s and 800

How to get to St Lucia:
Johannesburg to St Lucia (± 620 km)
Take the N17 to Bethal then continue
along the N2 through Ermelo, Piet Retief and Pongola. Then take
the left turn-off to Mtubatuba and continue to St Lucia on the R618.
Durban to St Lucia (± 240km)
Take the N2 north passing Richards
Bay. Turn right to Mtubatuba (See Fuel Station on your right).
Turn left and then right on the R618 to St Lucia.
